Boatshow Confirmed!!! -- |
We
have now received final confirmation from the press office of the
London Boatshow that the expedition boat will be displayed as a
centre
piece at the main entrance. |

| The
Press Office have also asked if Bear Grylls would help open the
show with schroders, the boatshow sponsors, on the press day which
will be a great opportunity to announce the record attempt to the
press. |

| The
boat will be on the steps at the front of the show, in the prime
place that everyone walks past to enter the main earls court arena.
To have been chosen to feature in the main entrance limelight is
very exciting for all the team involved. |

| We
could not have a more prime spot and this has surpassed all that
had been hoped for here! |
| |
| The
boat is expected to be 75% completed by the time of the London Boat
show - and this will give people the chance to see the detailed
workings and construction of the RIB. The completed boat is due
for sea-trial delivery in February. |

| At
the boatshow people will also be able to see some of the range of
equipment that the team will be using, from the latest marine helmets
by Gecko, to state of the art, Sartech epirb rescue beacons. Also
on display will be some of the extreme survival clothing made for
this attempt by Musto clothing as well as details on the revolutionary
new fuel additive from Soltron. |
