The Boat

| The
boat will be custom built for the expedition to lifeboat standards.
Manufactured by Ocean Dynamics, it will be 11m long and powered
by a single 450 h.p. diesel inboard Caterpillar engine, coupled
to a twindisc jet. 100's of litres of extra of fuel will
be stored in bladders across the open decking. Sea trials will begin
early 2003 around the UK. Sponsors and journalists will be welcome
to visit and experience life on board. |
