At
2.10pm local time, the Arnold & Son Explorer spotted the Scottish
mountains some 30 miles ahead. The excitement the crew felt at
having reached the end of their 3000 mile epic journey can not
be described. We beached the boat on a small Scottish cove at
3.30pm, the white ensign flying and Eric and Jean-Marie from Arnold
& Son (our title sponsors) welcoming us home. |

It
was a very emotional time for everyone's families and Chloe, Andy
and Alex from the support team are extremely happy and relieved.
Champagne has already been opened. Each of the crew will be writing
an individual update later on this evening, before the official
entrance to John O'Groats at noon tomorrow. |
